Deal Tier Scoring
Every listing now gets an automatic quality grade the moment it's processed. No extra clicks, no
waiting — deals are scored as they come through.
- Excellent (100%+ profit) — green badge, jump on these
- Good (50–100%) — solid margin, worth a look
- Fair (20–50%) — thin but real
- Poor (under 20%) — probably not worth the effort
- Caution — something about the pricing looks off, needs a manual check
Badges show up on listing cards so you can scan a full search and spot winners without expanding
anything.
Pricing Structure Detection
Not every eBay listing is straightforward. Some say "$5 each," some are "pick any 3," and some are
auctions where the final price is unknown. Game Scrape now detects these patterns and flags them
automatically.
When a listing has pricing flags, you'll see an alert in the detail view explaining what was detected.
A "verify pricing" button lets you confirm you've checked the actual eBay listing, which clears the
warning and lets the deal tier stand on its own numbers.
Smarter Product Matching
The biggest source of bad profit calculations was incorrect product matches — searching for "Rock
Band" could return a $300 instrument bundle instead of the $5 standalone disc.
Product matching now prioritizes exact name matches and demotes bundles in the results. Bundles are
still available if they're genuinely the right product, but they won't beat out a standalone match.
Low-confidence matches get flagged for manual review instead of being auto-selected.
Inline Product Selection
When you expand a game's edit form, you now see the full list of product candidates right there. Each row is clickable — pick the correct product and the card refreshes immediately. The currently selected product is highlighted, and loose and CIB prices are shown side by side.
Refetch Prices
New button in the game edit form: "refetch prices from api." This makes a fresh call to get updated
pricing data. Useful when:
- No pricing data was found on the first run
- You corrected a game name and need new candidates
- Pricing data has been updated since the last run
Pipeline Improvements
- Reprocessing a listing now clears stale data before re-fetching, so improved matching applies
retroactively - Duplicate records from reprocessing have been eliminated
- Failed runs no longer count against your search limits
